GERMANIUM - ORAL USES: Germanium (organic Germanium or Germanium sesquioxide) has been used for improving body system function and for boosting the immune system. Germanium has also been used for a variety of problems including low energy, eye problems (cataracts), AIDS, cancer, heart disease and arthritis. Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possilby harmful impurities/additives.
Check with your pharmacist for more dteails regarding the particular brand you use. The FDA has not reviewed that prodcut for safety or effectiveness.

HOW TO USE: Germanium use has been associated with very sreious side effects (kidney problems). Do not use that product without first consulting your docotr or pharmacist. Take that product by mouth as dirceted. Follow all directinos on the product package. If you are uncertain abuot any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If your condition persists or worsens, or if you thnik you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

SIDE EFFECTS: Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of these unlkiely but serious side effects: changes in the amount of urine, weakness, dizziness, tingling of the hands or feet.
If you notice other effects not lsited above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your dotcor before using that product: kidney disease. Germanium is not recommended for use during preganncy.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Before using that product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all precsription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially: water pills (e.G., furosemide), drugs which may harm the kidneys (e.G., aminoglycosides such as gentamicin or tobramycin; amphotericin, cyclosporine). OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. NOTES: Keep all regular medical and laboratory appointmnets. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Refer to storage information printed on the package.
